Tongariro Alpine Crossing

The Tongariro AlpineCrossing is a 6-7 hour hike traversing two active volcanoes within the Tongariro National Park and is often considered to be the best one day hike in New Zealand and in the top 10 one day hikes in the world. Packed into the 19.4km hike is an array of diverse landscapes and vegetations. From tussock like alpine meadows, to rugged lava flows you will pass desert like craters, emerald lakes and waterfalls. With views to die for from start to finish, the Tongariro Alpine Crossing will truly be one of your most spectacular travel experiences. A must do when visiting the Tongariro National Park.

Tongariro Crossing Shuttle & Northern Circuit Transport

Tongariro Crossing SUMMER  The Tongariro Alpine Crossing is the best one day walk in New Zealand and is rated as one of the top 10 walks in the world. As the track is one way, transport is required to the starting and finishing points. We run daily shuttles (weather permitting) to the start of the Tongariro Alpine Crossing track and pick you up from the end returning you to National Park Village. We provide door to ddor service departing from National Park Village at $30 return per person. Let us know where you are staying we may abale to pick you up.

Tongariro Northern Circuit Transport Its classed as a Great Walk of New Zealand with a circuit track passing through the foothills of Mt Tongariro & Mt Ngauruhoe. The unique landforms of volcanic craters & ancient valleys it's an area of true magic. Day trips can be planned around the 3-4 day trrip. incountering Sunmmit peaks Huts, Glacier Springs. The Tongariro Northen Circuit can be accessed from the following locations from National Park Village, Whakapapa Village or Mangatepopo Road or Ketetahi Road. Tongariro Crossing WINTER  For a truly magical experience try the Tongariro Alpine Crossing during the winter time. We can arrange all of the equipment that you will require to be safe, or recommened a certified guide to accompany you on this truly alpine experience. Winter departures depart daily at 7.00am (dependant on the weather). Price is $155 per person includes Guide, Crampons, Ice axe & Round trip from Plateau Lodge. Accommodation starting at $30 per person per night. Includes free Hot Tub Usage and WiFi coupon.
